This Is My Favorite Tribute To Prince So Far!

‘Syncopated Ladies’ is a female tap dance band from Los Angeles. This band was formed by critically acclaimed tap dancer and choreographer, Chloe Arnold. ‘Syncopated Ladies’ was the winner of Dance Crew Battles on the show So You Think You Can Dance Season 11. They are best known for their breathtaking routine to Beyonce’s “Formation”. This time we feast our eyes on their wonderful tribute to Prince. Their tap is so much in sync with the music, it made my heart burst with joy. Please, enjoy and SHARE.

The founder of “Syncopated Ladies,” Chloe Arnold began her professional career at age 10 in Washington, DC. She began dancing at age 6, and booked her first modeling job for PM magazine at age 4. At 12, Chloe starred in a documentary for Cable Television called “Chloe’s World”. At age 16, Chloe was discovered by legendary choreographer Debbie Allen, who invited her to take part in her production of Brother’s of the Knight at The Kennedy Center. While admitted to Harvard University, Chloe instead attended Columbia University to study Theater and Film and to Dance in New York City. She also studied acting at The New York Film School and Bill Duke’s Actor’s Boot Camp. Chloe worked with Debbie Allen for over a decade as a performer, choreographer, director, and producer. Today, Chloe Arnold is considered one of the leading ladies in Tap.
Chloe’s latest credits include a role on HBO’s hit series Boardwalk Empire as one of the Onyx Girl, performing at Madison Square Garden for the opening of the NY Knicks 2013-2014 season, working with Beyoncé on the 2013 Pepsi and H&M campaigns as well as many music videos, and dance shows like ABC’s Dancing With The Stars.
Arnold also taught at The Broadway Dance Center and spent summers teaching dance at P. Diddy’s Summer Camp and The Debbie Allen Dance Institute and Academy.
Her “Syncopated Ladies'” video covering Beyonce’s song, became viral in a blink of an eye. Beyonce herself shared the video on both her Facebook and website.
