Don’t we all love singing while taking a shower or driving a car?! My neighbors are the most tolerant listeners. The guy from the next video is not as bad at singing as me. In fact, his daughter is so proud of his talent, she filmed him while he was driving. Singing George Jones’s classic, “Tennessee Whiskey,” his voice strikes with its power and beauty. I would go on a ride with this guy any time. Please, enjoy and SHARE this talented hunky dad!
I just love how proud this girl is of her dad’s talent!
Fathers and father-figures have a huge impact on girls’ lives. The resent research shows that daughters whose fathers have been engaged in promoting their academic or athletic achievements and encouraging their assertiveness are more likely to graduate from college and to get a well-paying job. Even college and professional female athletes often credit their fathers for helping them to become self-disciplined, confident, ambitious, and successful. Today, fathers also seem to be having a greater impact on their daughters’ academic and career choices. According to the recent study, women born in the 1970s are three times more likely than those born at the beginning of the twentieth century to work in the same field as their fathers. Today, girls are more likely to take jobs, usually help by men, as a result of mentoring from their fathers.
Fathers also have more impact on their daughters’ relationships than mothers do.A girl, who has a supportive father, who is able to communicate with her is less likely to get pregnant as a teenager and less likely to become sexually active in her early teens. It is mostly because she is focused on achieving her educational goals first, not willing to disappoint her father. During the college years, such girls are more likely to turn to their boyfriends for emotional comfort and support, and less likely to be “talked into” having sex. Daughters with good dads respect their body, and as a result make wiser decisions and have more satisfying, more long-lasting marriages.
