It’s no secret that dogs and children have a special bond. If you grew up in a house with dogs, you know that they were often your very best friend. They knew just how to cuddle and gave the best kisses. They were always up for a game of fetch or just to go outside and go for a walk. The dogs in this video obviously love the new baby in their life, and watching them grow up together is going to be a joy!
Some couples get dogs to practice for having children. Getting a dog does change your life. If you have always slept in in the mornings, you’re going to have to get used to waking up early and walking your dog. You’ll even have to go out in the cold, rain, or heat. Your once tidy home will now be littered with dog hair and dog toys and your pet is so wonderful that you don’t even care. The only thing your dog will actually help clean up is any food you might accidentally drop on the floor – something that will definitely come in handy when/if you decide to add children to your family. Finally, your large, comfortable bed will all of a sudden not be quite big enough.
So, dogs may prepare you for kids, but some dogs are not prepared to share all of your attention. That is definitely not the case with the adorable dogs in this video – they absolutely love their new human sibling. All of the love and cuddles are absolutely adorable, and I’m sure their bond will only grow as the baby gets older. Keep in mind that dogs should be properly socialized and introduced to new infants and children should never be left unattended with dogs.
